Peaceful, Romantic, St. Francisville LA.

Three of my most favorite towns in this area are these...in order....
"St. Francisville, Louisiana, Natchez Mississippi, Natchiotches Louisiana.

This weekend my husband, Miss Priss, and I were able to go visit St. Francisville for the umptenth time and we still love it and will go again.

IF you ever come to South Louisiana, out of any place you may visit, I recommend this town. Even MORE SO than some of other towns that get visited by tourists.
Everyone wants to go to New Orleans.

But personally......give me St. Francisville every time. I'm not one to go visit New Orleans unless I am forced to which is usually once a year....to the airport or to a museum etc.
Although I have been there many times for many reasons, that city will never be "my cup of tea."

St. Francisville isn't a loud party city. It's much calmer and there isn't as much to do....except look at old Plantation homes and Antebellum homes, beautiful gardens and fun shops. There is alot of history all in one little area.

This town is full of it's own ambiance.

Romantic old homes such as these.

Admirable "Houses of Worship".......
A fabulous mixed combination of rolling hills, swamps, and hanging moss in trees is what you can find in the Feliciana's. When the bushes and flowers are in bloom. You may think you have died and gone to heaven. Well.....not quite but it is still wonderful to behold.

I will write more later regarding the shops and the GREAT food spots in the area.
