Potential 2012 GOP Candidates. Who to choose?

From what I've seen, there just isn't much to choose from.

Mike Huckabee? I like him. I like his conservative Christian values. But, like I blogged before, his career is over with the Washington police shooting by the criminal he pardoned.

Ron Paul? He's a good solid Constitutionalist and a firm believer in minimal government intervention and intrusion. But I would trust a gopher to protect America more than he if it came down to it. The man seems to have no grasp of national security or the threat of Islamic extremism we face. In fact, he ignores it.

Mitt Romney? For a long time now I've been leaning towards Romney. With his knowledge of business and economics, the man is just what we need for the economy. But with his recent backing of McCain I just don't if we can trust him to uphold conservative ideals. He is just as liberal as McCain was.

Sarah Palin? Don't even get me started. I know this will likely offend many of you but I must say it. Nominating Sarah Palin for president in 2012 is about the worst thing the GOP can do. Mark my words, if this happens it will bring the conservative movement's momentum to a screeching halt while handing Obama a second term on a silver platter. People going gaga over Palin in my opinion are cut from the same cloth as the Obama sheep. Yes Palin is a true conservative. Yes, she is a "down to earth" type of candidate. Yes, her appearance and speech is attractive. But Sarah Palin is not presidential material folks. She is just as inexperienced as Obama was. If you want to destroy the conservative movement, divide the Republican party, and hand Obama a second term, by all means support Palin.

Scott Brown? LOL. See Palin description above.

Dick Cheney? The man is could suffer a massive heart attack any moment.

Who does that leave? Newt Gingrich? Tim Pawlenty? Bobby Jindal? Micheal Steele?

God help us. Anyone else feel the same way?
