My brother-in-law James has been visiting since Tuesday and Jon and I have been trying to come up with things to do/show him here in an effort to convince him to move up north. Yesterday we went over to NE to the Mississippi neighborhood/street. Jon and James wanted to shop for graphic novels and comic books, and I wanted to check out local fashion. I delightful distraction held us back from really exploring the neighborhood - there was a bike parade.
The event started with the Last Regiment Drum Brigade which Max loved, then lots of people on all different types of bicycles, dressed in costumes, finally followed by NUDE bicyclists (I imagine that this is crazy uncomfortable). It was a fun distraction.
