75 On Monday, 76 on Tuesday

Beautiful day in Portland! Today was in the high 70's and tomorrow promises to be more of the same. I was excited to break out my brown Mayle Elvira dress which I wore with leggings and some black prada flat sandals. I am hoping to wear my Rita cardi with my black Asia slip tomorrow (pending weather) and maybe my purple flats from 2005.

We started our day by walking with Kate and Nolan over to Airplay for story time which was alot of fun (and not super crowded) and I only spent $10. Afterwards we walked back to the west side and took the boys to the playground. I FINALLY picked up my gladiator sandals from last summer from being fixed, along with two other pairs of shoes ($69). Max fell asleep as we hit Saks to buy some Kiehl's sunscreen + their new black mascara (that is NOT waterproof:( which bums me out) $35.00. Max continued to nap so I went to the post office to mail off some ebay packages + our tax info to our accountant $30.00 (that's $100 at the post office in 4 days). Quick bite of lunch at Sushiland ($11) and then Max finally woke up. Jessica came over to babysit him ($24) while I walked up to NW 23rd to get my CT scan. It was so nice strolling in the sun... I stopped and got a large iced vanilla latte on my way home $3.75.. (yes I sort of love this running total of what I am spending money on - tell me if its annoying)

I took my black Michaela dress to the tailor to be altered and showed them the run. Its going to be about $34 to alter the dress and they stopped the run from growing any longer (which is great). I still haven't heard back from Christina OR Jane. I know that technically the business is no more, BUT if they are expecting shipments and still selling, I would assume that they would take care of something like this. Maybe they don't care. I wish that I had bought the dress on Amex so I could call them and complain (and they wouldn't make me pay for it), but I didn't and used my debit card and HSBC will do nothing for me because they suck in general.

After spending $80 on alterations this week on the black Micheala and the avignon, I may hold back on taking in the Sylvestre and the other Michaela until I am back from NYC.
