After a full year in which our President's undivided attention was solely focused on his legendary vision to "fundamentally transform America" through the seizure of the health care industry, among others, where our President was practically prodded into making a decision about the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan, Barack Hussein Obama apparently now feels it is finally the right time to visit our battle weary troops. Oh he cares for them all right, just like a football coach cares for his 3rd string QB.
Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that this President of ours could care less about our troops, seeing as this is his first trip to Afghanistan in over a year of being Commander in Chief? Since Obama took office at the beginning of 2009, 399 American soldiers have died in combat there, 316 in 2009 alone, more than the total US casualties of 2007 and 2008 combined. Yet, during the painstakingly long months of 2009, ravaged by the health care debate at home and the crumbling war strategy abroad in Afghanistan, Obama chose to focus his attention on the former. Not until General Stanley McChrystal went public in August saying something needed to be done did King Barry respond, and that response was not one of sincerity or willingness to act, but of rebuke and scorn towards the General for making his opinions known.
Now Obama travels to Afghanistan to "rally the troops", one week after his socialist experiment has finally beaten the American people, and expects American troops and the American people to believe his two faced double talk about supporting their efforts and that "Americans never quit", when it was he who was the most vocal opponent of this war and batted nary an eyelash about it during the past 14 months while his healthcare gem was front and center.
I am an American soldier. And I can say here and now, based off of personal experience and meeting fellow troops of all races, backgrounds, religions, and political ideologies, that the United States Armed Forces do not support President Barack Obama. What's worse, we know he doesn't give two sh-ts about the military. Most Marxist radicals don't, especially ones brought up in Islamic, anti-Christian environments. From the opinions I've heard, there is a trend and pattern in the military and that is we don't like liberals who mock us with their elitist rhetoric. We don't like liberals who focus on the bad that goes on in war over the good. And we don't like liberals who put their personal agendas over our safety, then pretend they actually do care about us when that agenda is all wrapped up.
