Juniper. Healing?

Not sure if I mentioned but last week I was out having cocktails A LOT. Recently I have stopped drinking as much wine because it was making me feel worse whether it was one drink or ten drinks. So when I was out last week, I rediscovered Gin. I love Gin. And it wasn't until last Tuesday morning when I could suddenly breathe again that I realized it HAD TO BE the gin. According to my friend Amy, Gin has juniper in it which is incredibly healing. Last Monday I had two cocktails and awoke able to breath for the first time in two months without acupuncture. I know this sounds far fetched, but when I was guzzling gin cocktails earlier in the summer, my sinuses were totally fine. My acupuncture doctor did agree - but says not to over do it. So two drinks a week (self-imposed) for this girl.

Yesterday was hump day which I relish and at the same time despise. I had so many errands to do yesterday but I didn't do any of them. I threw on my Paradiso Eniko from fall 08 with some black tights and heels and a cardigan, and met Tracy to go to Burgerville (YUM) and to the party store to get stuff for Adelaide's party on Sunday. I have to say its always fun to drive with someone else (not that I drive) as I am normally in the car with Jon. Around 3 Tracy and I got back to NW and I grabbed a coffee (first of the day) from Cafe Umbria and went to open clubhouse (Nancy's son was sick). It was great to catch up with some of my mom friends that I have not seen. Then I went to Saucebox to meet Jennifer Jacobs for another walk thru for our YP event next Saturday and a happy hour cocktail.

In other exciting news, I am trading my pitsula for a dress that I used to own! A gunmetal gray and yellow trimmed Federica. I am super excited to get the dress back (from the original person I sold it to. As much as they love it they aren't wearing it (just like me and the pitsula).
