Ebay Annoyance

So after sorting out my eBay account, I finally used eBay to list an item a week or so ago. I just got my eBay invoice and they are charging me $19.96 for a final value fee on an item that sold for $225. I was shocked! That is like interest on a credit card. I called to let them know that I was unhappy - and the representative told me that I had selected to list the item with no insertion fee, which I had no idea had even happened. So now, on hold for twenty minutes (after being disconnected 9 times - literally) they are looking into giving me a credit. It just seems that eBay and their policies are getting worse and worse. Your thoughts? Your selling horror stories? Annoyances?
