I was flipping through my new issue of Harper's Bazaar when I saw this ad for Kate Spade. Back in the early 90's I fell in love with Kate Spade's whimsical style - she WAS the 1950's/1960's (early 6o's) epitome of retro chic. Now that Deborah Llyod (formerly of Burberry + Banana Republic fame) is helming the brand she has launched a line of apparel. This dress in the ad is so reminsenct of Mayle - the style, the fabric and I feel like I need it in my closet. I plan on going by the Kate Spade at Pioneer Square Mall tomorrow to get the scoop - see if its actually going to be produced and to see if it comes in any other color besides cream and of course the price point.
