Fused Blue Glass

Here is the bird feeder at the end of the slumping cycle. The first two pictures were taken when the glass is still in the kiln. The white circle around the glass is the drop ring mold. The glass slumps through the hole.These next two pictures are of the glass out of the kiln. It came out perfect. Its a shallow dish perfect size for small birds to feed out of now I just need toadd the hook ground

Fused glass bird feeder

This is the bird feeder I started fusing. its flat now but the next step will be too slump the glass through a drop ring mold. I have to be careful not to slump too far or the glass can hit the floor of the kiln. Ill have to watch the glass closely.

Creating the bird feeder...Blue Glass

This is my glass about to go in the kiln to create my bird feeder.I'm using blue glass with some colorful stringer.I cut the blue and clear into a circle. It fuses first then will be slumped.
