Homespun Memorial Day Party
Photo via~ Publicdomainpictures.netWE WILL REMEMBERLet's not forget those who have fought and are fighting today for our country's freedom. Everyday men and women voluntarily go to battle and put their lives on the line for us. Some we know, some we do not. This Memorial Day let it be known that "we salute you" and say "thank you", you will not be forgotten.Homespun With Love has put together

Rick Foxx Makes Memorial Day Memorable

Former Laker Rick Foxx showed up at Hollywood & Highland yesterday much to the delight of surprised tourists and locals.
Foxx was doing a bit about the NBA Championship between the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers. Rick told me that he was actually played for both teams. He was drafted by the Celtics and traded to the Lakers. It was fun having him around. I grabbed his hand and took him off the property of Hollywood & Highland because you can't film TV or movies on the premises.

Remembering....
Sunday, May 25, 2008
I Appreciate........

*My Country
*My Freedom...and yours
*Men and Women who lay their lives down for the sake of others...
*Courage
*Honor
*Independence
*Liberty
*People who take "stands" for Valiant causes....wither it's my cause or not.
Let me say right here......I do not like, nor want war.
I don't know ANYONE who does.....
BUT I DO support our Men and Women that have chosen to defend our country and others around this world.
I will never abandon "remembering and praying for them."
