Beth Ditto: "Lady Gaga's Music Is For 5 Year Olds"

Beth Ditto claims she is a Lady Gaga fan but feels her music has no impact on an older generation and that Gaga's music is for "five year olds". Ditto believes Lady Gaga’s music is appreciated by the younger generation because it is a new sound to them.

''I think her music is for five year olds. Like when I was five, for me it was Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Michael Jackson. Those people were iconic," Ditto tells BANG Showbiz. ''I'm 31 so that was like 26 years ago. I think that for the five year old watching MTV right now Lady Gaga is going to be an iconic person.

"In 20 years, the people who are here and talking to journalists will be like, "Oh Lady Gaga changed my life, Nicki Minaj changed my life." They'll be saying who influenced them and it will be Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, artists like that. I don't think it's as relevant when a 31-year-old is saying the same things.''

Ditto continued: ''I think that what she does is interesting and you know it's contributing in a really big way. But if you're watching Lady Gaga as a kid it's so much different than when you're 31. It's like yeah we like her songs but because we're experiencing them as 31-year-olds it doesn't have the same impact. The five year olds listening to Lady Gaga are ripping their hair out because they've never seen or heard anything like it.''

Lady Gaga's Rainbow Hair !

Lady Gaga undeniably is the queen of the 
gimmick.


Gaga arrived in Tokyo today with rainbow hair!



Japan is, of course, where this bright trend originated, so it was key to work it properly, and Gaga managed this with aplomb.

To be more exact, Gaga worked a huge pony tail riven with pastel rainbow tones.

She paired it with a long studded jacket (one of the key trends of the season) and brilliant black talons and large sunglasses.



It has to be mentioned that Lady Gaga is particularly beloved in Japan thanks to her efforts to help out after the massive tsunami and earthquake disasters.

Lady Gaga Wants A Marriage For Life !

Lady Gaga undeniably knows what she wants.

Lady Gaga has revealed she would like to get married to someone who will never want to divorce her.

According to the "Daily Star", Gaga claimed: "Divorce is not an option for me. It’s like, "I’m going to get married and that’s it. He’s stuck with me".”"

Gaga also believes that her marriage should be for life and wants to find someone who feels the same way about it.

Gaga quoted as saying: "I want to find a man that feels the same way – about divorce not being an option. Working through everything together, even if it’s the hardest thing you’ve ever been through, you just stick it out."

Lady Gaga - who has allegedly split with "Vampire Diaries" star Taylor Kinney - considers that her parent's own problems have helped her realise how important it is for couples to try and work things out.

"My parents are more in love than they’ve ever been in their life and they’re just so, so happy. And that’s what I want," Gaga admitted.

Lady Gaga's Most Terrifying Thing: Love !

Lady Gaga has given "The Sun" her most candid interview, revealing everything from what makes her falling in love to what makes her go Gaga in the bedroom!

That's kind of weird when you consider the fact that Gaga is known for keeping a "Poker face" when discussing about her private life...

Gaga explained that love terrifies her, as she hates the idea of anything coming between her and her career:

"Anyone that got in the way or was being destructive in my life, I just cut them off and concentrated on my music. Love is still the most terrifying thing in life for me"

It's not certainly a coincidence that the revelation came hand-in-hand with the news that Gaga has split from "Vampire Diaries"boyfriend Taylor Kinney. Gaga is still very positive that she will find true love eventually...

"I’m still working on finding love. I know that feeling — that feeling of the impossible. But the only thing I don’t have that feeling about is my work. It’s not dependent on someone else. At the same time, it is an amazing feeling that you can love somebody and that you can share your life."

Lady Gaga has even opened up about what she likes in the bedroom.

"Everybody thinks I’m this sexually-charged pop music maniac — which I am — but I don’t think I enjoyed sex until I was much older... In the bedroom now, I really like being told what to do."

Lady Gaga About Her Past Cocaine Addiction !

Lady Gaga revealed that she was "very depressed" at age 19, dropping out of school and picking up three jobs to support herself as she pursued a music career. "I would go back to my apartment every day and I would just sit there. It was quiet and it was lonely. It was still," Gaga claimed. "It was just my piano and myself. I had a television and I would leave it on all the time just to feel like somebody was hanging out with me."

Eventually, Gaga developped a cocaine addiction to cope with her loneliness. "It was like the drug was my friend. I never did it with other people," Gaga quoted as saying. "It's such a terrible way to fill that void, because it just adds to that void, because it's not real."

But when Gaga figured out how addictive cocaine can be, she  was hit with a sudden reality check. "I sort of fucking woke up one day and was like, "You're an asshole. You're not an artist,"" said Gaga. ""If you were a real fucking artist, you'd be focused on your music. You wouldn't be spending your money on the white devil.""

Hope that Gaga won't snort cocaine again! For her sake...

Lady Gaga's Stage Set The Largest Scenic Structure That's Ever Been Built To Tour !

Lady Gaga is sparing no expense on her "Born This Way Ball" world tour.

Gaga commissioned a set decorated as a Gothic castle, featuring viewing towers and intricate carvings, for the shows which kicked off in Seoul, South Korea last month and it reportedly takes fifteen 53 foot long tractor trailers to move the castle and main stage.

James "Winky" Fairorth, CEO of Tate Towers told US Weekly: "The stage set for the Born This Way Ball is the largest scenic structure that's ever been built to tour."

Gaga has also asked a host of Italian designers including Versace, Armani and Moschino to create her costumes, saying "It's been my life's dream to be dressed in Italian designers."

Donatella Versace is full of praise for Gaga and explained how excited she is by the collaboration.

Donatella Versace stated: "Lady Gaga is the present and the future. She is the most revolutionary and inspirational artist. She is fearless and daring. I can't wait for everyone to be surprised by what we've cooked up together!"

Lady Gaga Horns

When Lady Gaga's latest single "Born This Way" was released in February, she was photographed wearing prosthetic horns on her forehead, cheekbones and shoulders. In an interview with US Harper's Bazaar she explains the meaning behind her horns.

She tells the magazine she is at her happiest "living every day somewhere between reality and fantasy at all times."

The writer explains that the only "tense" part of their meeting occurs when he asks her to explain this latest look.

Well, first of all," Gaga says, "they're not prosthetics. They're my bones.... They've always been inside of me, but I have been waiting for the right time to reveal to the universe who I truly am."

"They come out when I'm inspired" Gaga adds.

Asked if she might encourage her fans to alter their image in the same way, she states: "We all have these bones! They're the light from inside of us."

"It's artistic expression," Gaga reveals. "It's a performance-art piece. I have never, ever encouraged my fans or anyone to harm themselves, nor do I romanticise masochism. Body modification is part of the overarching analysis of Born This Way. In the video, we use Rico, who is tattooed head to toe (including a skull on his face). He was born that way. Although he wasn't born with tattoos, it was his ultimate destiny to become the man he is today."

This is undeniably a controversial video I found about Lady Gaga and Madonna on You tube!

The guy, who made this, is admittedly a Lady Gaga and Madonna fan as well.

Some consider it scary while others label it as "funny", "creative" and even "infuriating".

Opinions vary...Anyway, despite the fact that it is kind of strange to promote Madonna's MDNA through Lady Gaga's "Poker face",  the guy encourages to buy Madonna's new album "MDNA"  and even jokes saying : "If you don't buy it, you are reductive".

I bet that if Madonna watches this video, she won't be pleased...

But we have to acknowledge the fact that the owner of the video didn't have any bad intention of humiliating and insulting both artists.

Lady Gaga On Oprah: " I Do Not Intend To Speak To Anyone For A Very Long Time"

As part of her sudden rise to superstardom, Lady Gaga has always chatted with media outlets, divulging secrets from her past and speaking candidly to the press about her personal life.

 But now, Gaga seems that she has had it with the "Paparazzi," announcing plans to go into self-imposed exile following the airing of her special TV interview on "Oprah's Next Chapter.'" Apparently, the overexposed star is desperate to regain some privacy! If you think about it, this is very normal...It's very exhausting to appear everywhere and talk about anything in order to please your fans. Gaga must definitely feel drained!


In a preview of her chat with Oprah, which takes place in Gaga's childhood home and includes mother Cynthia Germanotta, Mother Monster insists her Little Monsters wont be seeing or hearing much from her when it comes to interviews.

"Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time," the singer told the media mogul. "No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, "Did you hear about ..." I shut it all off ... I don't read a damn thing."


The announcement is surprising  and even shocking when you consider Gaga's track record with the press. She's openly shared her past struggles with bullying, bulimia, drugs, bad boyfriends and her sex life with the public. The one aspect of her personal life she remains tight-lipped about is her current romantic relationship with actor Taylor Kinney, and perhaps it's that romance that she hopes to protect by stepping out of the public eye.

But Gaga's indefinite break from speaking with media outlets doesn't mean she will disappear from the scene completely. The performer is set to kick off her "Born This Way Ball" world tour in South Korea on April 27.

Don't forget that "Oprah's Next Chapter: Lady Gaga" premieres March 18 at 9PM EST on OWN.

Lady Gaga Without Make Up !

Lady Gaga is well known for her outrageous appearances. As for make up, she usually goes with massive eyes, and prolonged lashes. Fake eyelashes are typically a should for a Lady Gaga look. For the lips, Lady Gaga generally goes with a hardly there nude or pink coloration, although she occasionally goes with black or a striking red as well.

 But how does Gaga look like when she is not wearing any make up at all?

Lady Gaga Plastic Surgery

According to plastic surgeons "Lady Gaga definitely had a rhinoplasty. It looks a little pinched, but not bad."

On the other hand, Lady Gaga has insisted that she will never succumb to plastic surgery.

Lady Gaga called cosmetic procedures "harmful" because they promote insecurity.

To be more exact, speaking in the May issue of U.S. "Harper's Bazaar", Gaga revealed: "I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have. I think promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification."

She continued: "And how many models and actresses do you see on magazine covers who have brand-new faces and have had plastic surgery, while I myself have never had any plastic surgery?"

 

Lady Gaga recently admitted that she would possibly get cosmetic surgery in the future. In an interview with "Heat Magazine", she claimed that she didn’t have any cosmetic surgery yet, even though there are those who maintain that they have seen differences in her appearance over the years. 

The revelation came after being asked if she did have surgery in which Gaga replied, "I haven't had any yet, I was born this way. But maybe after I pop out a few Gaga babies I'll be not born this way any more." Surgery after a pregnancy isn’t out of the norm for many, tummy tucks are a quick fix for loose skin and lasers can help fade stretch marks.

It’s a bit of a shocking testimony since Lady Gaga has spent much time pushing the message to love who you are, even penning the song "Born this Way." She also told "Heat magazine": "I have had my body insecurities, but that's why I wrote "Born This Way", I wanted to create a space that would liberate all of those insecurities. It's an incredibly church-like, religious experience where we exorcise our insecurities."

More previous pictures of singer Lady Gaga emerged recently suggesting that Gaga got some plastic surgery procedures to improve her image before getting to the place of her career she is now. Apparently there are plastic surgeons who strongly beleive that she got breast implants and a rhinoplasty.

There are pictures that show her like a completely different person, but the biggest difference is her nose.  In the previous pictures her nose looks much bigger and poorly defined, now it looks with better proportion, but still, is not perfectly defined showing some bump depending on the picture,which makes plastic surgeons wonder:"Why she would go for a rhinoplasty to get the job partially done?"

  So, for this one there are different options,. It could be that those older pictures are somehow manipulated, that is not even her, that the photographer was a completely disaster to make her look fine or that she actually got the nose job like that.

According to the stars-plastic-surgery.com, Gaga hasn't got breast implants ,because  earlier this year, her breast looks pretty much natural, not too big, not too round, not too upper projected, but with all the signs of natural breast.  With her particular sense of style, sometimes she likes to wear corsets and push up bras, so that could explain the change that can be seen sometimes.
