While I was going through one of my archival external hard drives, I came across this a few seconds of Dennis Hopper at the 2009 Los Angeles-Italia Film Festival...

Dennis Hopper Passes On

Today was a sad day for many reasons so I'm just going to do a repeat on some touching moments that I had the pleasure of being apart of. To tell the truth, I left one of my agents over the pictures that I photographed during DENNIS HOPPER's Star Ceremony.
Long story short, the agent wanted to hold the pictures and edit my sets down to eight. I was like no, I believe in these pictures and besides the person treating me like shit, I decided that I would rather not let them represent me anymore. And that they could no longer sell my pictures of Dennis Hopper. These are just a few memories of a stellar actor and the friends that loved him. It is a good day to die when you are surrounded by your love ones. Thank you Dennis Hopper for your wonderful legacy. R.I.P.

Dennis Hopper Rises at the Egyptian Theatre

Sometimes we forget the originals until we almost loose them. Dennis Hopper is so good at acting that one forgets he is. So wonderfully quirky, trippy and original. It is shocking that it took so long for Hopper to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Dennis Hopper has had an amazing career. He has also worked with the screens biggest stars and legendary movies such as James Dean, Natalie Wood (REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE), Martin Sheen, Marlon Brando (Apocalypse Now) and of course his partner in crime Jack Nicholson (Easy Rider). It was an appropriate place for Dennis Hopper to get a Star in front of the legendary Egyptian Theatre. Dennis Hopper's art will always be apart of Hollywood and we thank him for it. His children were on hand to enjoy the festivities...

Jack Nicholson: Gives it To Me Baby

Dennis Hopper Star Ceremony took a different turn when after it was over Jack Nicholson came towards the crowd. Jack and Dennis starred in the classic "EASY RIDER" an independent film made for $300,000 that grossed over $50 million. Wearing an shirt with stars as well as the image of Hopper and Nicholson from Easy Rider, Jack gave the crowd a much needed surge of energy. Seeing Hopper so frail made many uncomfortable and sad. We wished Hopper well. Nicholson gave fans the interaction that they craved. Thanks Jack!
