Anne Hathaway On Gay Rights VIDEO

Anne Hathaway, who has been a part of the gay rights movement since even before she co-starred in the landmark film "Brokeback Mountain" stated this month that she and her traditionally Catholic family left the Church over its views on homosexuality.

 Having a gay family member was enough to make them, like many other families, feel unwelcome. "The whole family converted to Episcopalianism after my elder brother came out," Anne revealed. "Why should I support an organization that has a limited view of my beloved brother?"

Hathaway has given a speech and accepted an award at 2008 Human Rights Campaign ( HRC ) in Los Angeles Dinner.

Eusebio Leal: Tobacco Is a Cultural Heritage of Cuba

Havana, Cuba, Feb 29.- Havana Historian Eusebio Leal said on Wednesday that the production, trade, and traditions of tobacco are part of the Cuban cultural heritage and a national legacy that remains in the preference of millions of people around the world.

Speaking at Havana’s Convention Center to the delegates participating in the ongoing 14th International Habano Festival, Leal recalled that tobacco was first taken to Europe in 1492 when Christopher Columbus returned from his first trip to the Americas.

The Havana Historian said personalities such as singer Francisco Repilado (Compay Segundo) and tobacco producer Alejandro Robaina are symbols of Cuba who were linked and contributed to the promotion and development of Cuban cigars all around the world.

This year’s Habano Festival is being attended by representatives from 60 countries and the program includes cigar tasting sessions, seminars, visits to tobacco plantations and cigar factories, as well as a commercial fair and an auction of humidors. Also programmed is the screening of the film ‘Cigars: The Heart and Soul of Cuba’, by James Suckling and James Orr.

Habanos S.A., founded in 1994, is a joint venture made up of Cuba’s Cubatabaco company and the Altadis Corporation, which belongs to the British Group Tobacco Group PLC. This company markets Cuban cigars on the island and abroad, based on an exclusive distribution network operating in over 150 countries. (ACN).

Is Lauren Conrad Dating Stephen Dorff?

Random couple alert -- Lauren Conrad is reportedly dating actor Stephen Dorff.
'They've been hooking up for a while,' a friend of the 38-year-old actor told the new issue of Life & Style magazine.
A friend of the former Hills star also appeared to confirm the news to the publication.
'Stephen likes to have a good time, and he wines and dines her,' her friend said.
According to the magazine, the duo were seen getting 'very flirty' at the reality star-turned clothes designer's recent 26th birthday bash at The Redbury Hotel in LA on February 16.
'He was touching her arm and back,' a party onlooker told Life & Style.
However, the star's friend said Lauren isn't getting serious just yet.
'She's cautious and knows he's a player,' said the source. 'She's just having fun.'
Who is Stephen Dorff you might be asking? Stephen recently starred in the movie Immortals alongside Superman star Henry Cavill, and will next be seen in Secret Service thriller Brake which is released in U.S. cinemas next month.
The actor is said to be single after splitting with his British reality star girlfriend Leilani Dowding.

A sad day for conservatism in America indeed. Breitbart was one of the most outspoken people in politics today. He, unlike most others in today's politically correct world, was unafraid what others would think of him. Now that Mr. Breitbart has passed, the lefties can hardly contain their joy! He was a piece of shit. Period. 

Just because he is now dead does not change that fact. At all. 

I know I'm supposed to be sensitive about the fact that he just died. There is always a certain modicum of respect that is given to those who recently pass away. That respect is apparently given to anyone, even those whom we do not respect.
I'm sorry, but Breitbart doesn't even qualify for that. He was a complete piece of shit, ripe full of vitriolic hate for anyone who disagreed with his views - you know, us. That alone doesn't disqualify him though. Because not only did he despise anything progressive or liberal, not only did he deliberately obfuscate and outright lie with both his words and postings of edited videos about us and groups that help our cause, he willingly attempted and successfully destroyed lives and reputations in the process.

Similar reactions can be seen all over the internet from foaming at the mouth leftists exhibiting rainbows of multicolored ecstasy and joy exploding out their butts because of Andrew Breitbart's death. How nice of them. And really, I could care less if they hated the man. I could care less what they say about him. They can say all the hate filled despicable things they want and it won't change a thing. I don't expect any better behavior from liberals, I really don't. This is merely pointing out the absolute hypocrisy the left exhibits day in and day out. As the champions of peace and love, one would expect more. But the more you realize who liberals really are, the more you come to understand they aren't the champions of peace and love at all. Which only makes more sense why they continue to support the rights of murderers, pedophiles, rapists, terrorists, and various other law breakers and people with no moral fiber in this country. So, the comments we see around the web today really should be no surprise!

And on an added note, why do atheist liberals who hated Breitbart continue to mention how he is in hell? I am still waiting for an answer on that one...

Target Stores Withdraw Offensive Whitney Houston Greeting Cards

Her unexpected death at the age of 48 shocked America.



And as that was not enough now a U.S. supermarket has been forced to pull a greetings card from the shelves that poked fun Whitney Houston's relationship with her ex-husband Bobby Brown after a public outcry.





Target offended their customer's by stocking the light-hearted product, which read: "Next time you think of dating the bad boy consider Whitney Houston."

The retail giant decided to pull the card after receiving angry complaints from customers.

A company spokesman insisted it had been available long before Whitney's body was discovered on February 11th in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel room.


The representative added: "As soon as this was brought to our attention, we began the process of removing the card from all applicable stores.


"It is never our intent to offend guests with the products we offer, and we take feedback from guests very seriously."
